FIA-Metalworking Manufacturing Coalition (MMC) Trust Insurance Program
Forging Industry Association is a co-sponsor of a new health insurance program designed especially for the metalworking manufacturing industry and FIA member companies. Click here (pdf) to access the MMC program brochure.
The program, which brings the potential buying power of some 1600 companies and estimated 125,000 employees in the forging, stamping, fastener, spring manufacturing and nonferrous casting industries, is offered as an affordable solution toward managing the spiraling costs of employer-provided health care.
The MMC program is underwritten by Trustmark Life Insurance Company of Lake Forest, IL. Trustmark has more than 60 years experience in the insurance industry and more than 50 years as a leader in servicing associations and other affiliated organizations.
The MMC program offers a series of health and dental group plans. Benefit coverage is comprehensive. Plans will be quoted on a medical underwriting basis to each company. Quotes to individual companies are subject to respective state insurance regulations and requirements, ERISA and federal guidelines.
The MMC program is intended and offered as a service to participating associations and their members only without royalty or reimbursement to the associations. Any company in a partnering MMC industry will be allowed a quote, but only association members will be eligible to purchase and participate in the MMC Insurance program.
