2024 Fall Meeting & Marketing Seminar

Immerse yourself in industry insights and networking opportunities at the FIA Fall Meeting & Marketing Seminar on October 15-17, 2024, at Westin Downtown in Cleveland, OH. The event kicks off on Tuesday, October 15th, with a unique Welcome Reception at the Great Lakes Science Center on the beautiful Cleveland Waterfront.

The general session will include an Economic Update by Alex Chausovsky of Bundy Group, providing crucial insights into market trends. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to delve into policy discussions with Omar Nashashibi from Inside Beltway during a Washington D.C. Update. Throughout the day, expert panels and sessions cover topics ranging from raw materials to marketing strategies, including an exploration of AI in B2B marketing led by Kendra Ramirez of KR Digital. Cap off the day with Happy Hour and the ForgingPAC Raffle, before heading out on your own to explore Downtown Cleveland. 

Day two of the general session will include speaker Harry Moser of the Reshoring Initiative, who will shed light on the resurgence of reshoring and its implications for businesses. A presentation on Fair Trade by Myles Getlan of Cassidy Levy Kent will ensure attendees are well-infomed on global trade dynamics before they head back to their companies.

On the marketing side of the event, a program highlight will be the dynamic panel discussion on Successful Marketing for Manufacturing, moderated by Danielle Smith of Finkl, where we hope to share valuable perspectives from B2B sales and marketing leaders. Concluding the event is a session on Fair Trade by Myles Getlan of Cassidy Levy Kent, ensuring attendees are well-informed on global trade dynamics before they head back to their companies.

Next Gens: We invite FIA members aged 35 and under to join us with a 50% discount on registration. The program will also include a special event planned and hosted by the FIA Next Gen Committee. Help us strengthen the future of the forging industry by engaging and developing the next generation of forging industry leaders!

October 16:

  • Next Gens: Funny Bus Cleveland: Whether you are visiting or you are a local, you'll enjoy exploring Cleveland, laughing, and relaxing on this 90-minute bus tour. Laugh & Learn with your Next Gen peers on this fun Cleveland tour. The fee for this activity is $40 per person. You must be under the age of 35 to participate. 

October 17: (select one only)

  • Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Tickets: The end of the program will also include boxed lunches and tickets to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for those who want to venture into the history of Rock n’ Roll while in town.
  • Charter Steel Tour: Charter Steel is an American supplier of special bar quality steel (SBQ) products to customers worldwide. Charter Steel is a member of the Charter Manufacturing family of companies, which also includes Charter Wire LLC, Charter Automotive LLC, and Charter Dura-Bar, Inc.

Please note: The plant tour facility, Charter Steel, reserves the right to refuse admittance to their facility. Charter Steel will have the opportunity to review the list of attendees prior to the event. If the company decides that someone on the is not permitted to participate in the tour, they will inform FIA. The FIA staff will then contact the attendee to let them know that they may not attend the tour.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be permitted until October 1, 2024 and will be refunded in full. After October 1, 2024 no refunds will be given, but substitutions are allowed if submitted to the FIA in writing.
